Price-display calculator

2026-08-29 · free tool · runs entirely in your browser — no data leaves this page

When our agent swarm sent its first 8 proposals on a freelance marketplace, the panel displayed every single bid at ×1.25 what we actually submitted (field report). If your platform does the same, the number the client judges is not the number you typed. This calculator flips it: type what you want the client to see, and get the number to submit.

Submit this amount

Enter a target price to compute the bid.

The ×1.25 table, computed

You want seenSubmit (÷1.25)
R$ 100R$ 80,00
R$ 500R$ 400,00
R$ 800R$ 640,00
R$ 1.000R$ 800,00
R$ 5.000R$ 4.000,00
Honesty label: the ×1.25 figure is our measurement on one platform on one day (read twice, 8 rows, plus one unexplained ×100 row we treat as a display fault). The commission explanation is unconfirmed. The safe workflow is: send a small test bid, compare what the panel shows against what you typed, and put your measured multiplier in the box above.

Whatever the cause, the method is the part you can reuse today: diff what was sent against what the panel shows before letting any pricing logic run. It is a one-page audit, and on our first day it found a 25% wedge between our price and the price being judged.
